SANTA CLARA, Calif. - The Cal State Fullerton Titans women's tennis team defeated Santa Clara 4-3 on Saturday afternoon at the Degheri Tennis Center.

The Titans took an early 1-0 lead after winning the doubles point.  The Titans lost in No. 2 doubles before the No. 3 pairing of Kaytlin Taylor and Seha Yu won 7-5 and the No. 1 pairing of Sein Myoung and Milena Gevorgyan also won 7-5.

The Broncos tied things up to start singles after Dana Kunza lost in No. 6 singles.  Sein Myoung won her match 6-3, 6-1 in No. 1 singles and Seha Yu won in three sets 6-0, 4-6, 6-1 to give the Titans match point at 3-1.  The Broncos got one point back in No. 5 singles before Milena Gevorgyan sealed the victory in No. 4 singles with a 6-3, 7-6 (7-5) win.  Both teams played the match out where No. 3 Mariia Nikitash fell in No. 3 singles in the third set tiebreak.

The Titans will play one more game up north against San Jose State.  First serve is set for 12:00 p.m. against the Spartans.
