FULLERTON, Calif. – Following standout seasons, Mario Carlos and Jose de la Torre earned United Soccer Coaches All-Far West Region Second Team honors.
Carlos and de la Torre are the first Titans to earn All-Far West Region honors since Roberto Ordonez and Erick Serrano did so in 2023.
Carlos was named Big West Offensive Player of the Year after scoring seven goals in 2025 which led the team and was tied for a conference high. The senior scored five goals in the last six games of the season, including a hat trick in the Titans win over Cal State Bakersfield on Oct. 18. Carlos becomes just the second Titan to be named Big West Offensive Player of the Year alongside Ordonez who did so in 2023. The Torrance native also earned First Team All-Big West.
Sophomore, de la Torre, also secured Big West Midfielder of the Year after recording a tied for conference-high 15 points on four goals and seven assists. De la Torre's seven assists led the Big West and ranked tied for 23rd nationally at the end of the regular season. De la Torre also earned First Team All-Big West.
