FULLERTON, Calif. –  The Cal State Fullerton softball team announced its 2026 schedule on Thursday. Head Coach Gina Oaks Garcia enters her second season at the helm, leading the Titans through a 52-game slate highlighted by a midweek matchup against Japan's National Team and meetings with 10 NCAA Tournament teams from 2025, including Women's College World Series runner-up Texas Tech.

"We're excited to kick off the season with a strong, cohesive team," Oaks Garcia said. "Our returning players bring a deep understanding of Titans Softball's core philosophies, while our upperclassmen provide exceptional leadership both on and off the field. Additionally, our first-year players have already made a significant impact. The team's commitment to our 'Team First, One Mode' mentality grows stronger every day, and we're thrilled to face several Top 25 opponents right out of the gate."

The Titans open the 2026 campaign hosting the annual Easton Classic, set for Thursday, Feb. 5, through Sunday, Feb. 8. Fullerton kicks off the season with a Thursday doubleheader versus Ole Miss starting at 5 p.m., followed by meetings with Boise State and Portland State to close out opening weekend.

Tournament play continues Feb. 12-14 at the Cardinal Classic, hosted by Stanford. The Titans are slated to play five games over three days, beginning with a matchup against Kentucky on Thursday at 3 p.m., followed by games against Oregon, Stanford, and a conference opponent, Cal Poly.

Fullerton returns home for a quick midweek exhibition with Team Japan on Tuesday, Feb. 17, at 4:30 p.m., before heading to the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic (Feb. 19-21) at Big League Dreams in Cathedral City, Calif. Play at the MNCC includes meetings with Oklahoma, Rutgers, Oregon, Texas Tech and Auburn.

The Titans wrap up tournament play by hosting the 20th annual Judi Garman Classic, Feb. 26 through March 1. The prestigious weekend features matchups against BYU, Oregon State, and Cal, finishing with two games on Sunday versus Seattle U and LMU.

Big West play opens at home for the Titans against Cal Poly (March 7-8). The Titans host three additional conference series with UC San Diego (March 21-22), UC Riverside (April 11-12), and Long Beach State (April 14-25).

Three midweek nonconference games are scheduled, with UCLA visiting Anderson Family Field on April 7 at 6 p.m., followed by road trips to San Diego (April 14) and Cal Baptist (April 21).

The Titans face five conference opponents on the road, starting with a final trip to Hawai'i (March 13-14) before the Rainbow Wahine leave The Big West following the 2026 season. They then visit UC Davis (March 28-29), CSUN (April 3-4), and Cal State Bakersfield (April 18-19), before closing the regular season against the defending Big West Champion UC Santa Barbara (May 1-2).

The second annual Big West Softball Championship returns to Anderson Family Field on May 6-9, with the top six teams earning berths into the tournament. The winner will be granted an automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament.
