Men's Golf Ties for 13th Place at Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational

The Titans tallied 37 birdies, led by Chase Yukawa’s 11

STOCKTON, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton men's golf tied for 13th place after shooting 23-over par 887 at the Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational on Saturday. 

Will Tanaka led the Titans with a 1-over par 217 (71-72-74), finishing tied for 32nd with seven birdies over the three-day tournament. 

Chase Yukawa made his Titan debut and tied for 48th at 4-over par 220. His best round came on Friday, when he carded a 70 and recorded five of his 11 birdies. 

Shibo Wang finished 8-over par 224 (73-77-74) to share 70th place, while Lance Nguyen tied for 81st place at 12-over par 228. Giacomo Comerio rounded out the Titans, placing 92nd with a score of 20-over par 236 (76-82-78). 

The Titans are scheduled to close out the fall portion of play at the Oregon State Invitational hosted in Salem, Oregon, on Oct. 14-15.
