DAVIS, Calif. - The Cal State Fullerton Titans women's tennis team stopped a 3-game losing streak after defeating UC Davis 6-1 on the road on Saturday afternoon at the Marya Welch Tennis Center.

The Titans improved to 10-7 overall for the season and 3-3 in Big West play.

The Titans secured the doubles point after winning in No. 2 and No. 3 doubles.  In No. 2 doubles, Natalie Duffy and Mariia Nikitash won their match 6-1.  In No. 3 doubles, Seha Yu and Milena Gevorgyan won 6-2.

In singles, the Titans won five of six matches over the Aggies.  Mariia Nikitash was the first to win with a 7-5, 6-3 victory in No. 6 singles. Kaytlin Taylor made her return from injury with a 7-5, 6-3 victory in No. 5 singles. Seha Yu secured the match point with a 5-7, 7-3, 6-3 three set victory in No. 4 singles.  Natalie Duffy won her No. 3 singles match in three sets 5-7, 7-5, 7-5 and Sein Myoung was the last to finish with a three set victory 3-6, 7-6 (7-5), 6-3 win in No. 2 singles.

The Titans will remain up north for one more game this weekend when they take on the University of the Pacific tomorrow in Stockton at 11 a.m.
