FULLERTON, Calif. - The Cal State Fullerton Titans women's tennis team started off their final week of the regular season with a 4-0 victory over Westcliff University at home.  

The Titans (13-8) have one more make game up after losing a couple games to rainouts earlier in the season.  They will play two more matches this week with a match against Pomona Pitzer on Friday (3 PM) and their Big West season finale against UC Irvine on Sunday (11 AM).  

The Titans posted a dominant win in doubles to take an early 1-0 lead after only dropping two games between the three doubles matches.  The No. 1 pairing of Josie Usereau and Sein Myoung won 6-1.  The No. 3 pairing of Milena Gevorgyan/Seha Yu won 6-0.  While, the No. 2 pairing was abandoned, Natalie Duffy/Mariia Nikitash were leading 4-1 at the time before the match was abandoned. 

In singles, the Titans didn't drop a set between all six matches.  Sein Myoung set the tone early in her No. 2 singles match after posting a double bagel of her opponent, 6-0, 6-0.   Josie Usereau only dropped two games in a 6-1, 6-1 romp in her No. 1 singles match.  And finally, Mariia Nikitash won 6-2, 6-1 in her No. 6 singles match.  Natalie Duffy was one game away from a straight set victory in No. 3 singles (6-2, 5-1) while Seha Yu (6-2, 4-0) and Milena Gevorgyan (6-1, 4-1) were both two games away from finishing their match before they were called.
