HONOLULU, HI. - The Cal State Fullerton Titans women's tennis lost against the University of Hawai'i, 4-3, on Thursday after a continuation from yesterday's suspendded match due to rain.  

The game that needed to be completed was on Court #2 with UH's Nelly Knezkova eventually defeating the Titans' Sein Myoung, 7-5, 6-4. 

The Titans took an early 1-0 lead after securing the doubles point over Hawaii.  The Titans No. 2 pairing of Duffy/Taylor defeated their opponents 7-6 (7-4) and the Titans No. 3 pairing of Yu/Gevorgyan defeated their opponents 6-2.

In singles, the Titans went ahead 3-1 early in the match after Seha Yu won her No. 4 singles match 6-2, 6-2 and Mariia Nikitash won her No. 6 singles match 6-2, 6-0.  However, the Rainbow Wahine rallied off two wins in No. 1 and No. 3 singles to tie the match at 3-3.

The Titans will remain on the islands to take on Hawaii Pacific University.  First serve is set for 1:00 PM PST at the Kailua Racquet Club.
