Box Score NORTHRIDGE, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton women's volleyball fell in straight sets against CSUN (22-25, 21-25, 18-25) on Friday night.

As a team, the Titans hit .146 with 31 kills on 89 total attacks. Fullerton committed 31 total errors, costing them their fourth straight set loss in conference play. 

The Titans fought from behind for the entirety of the first set before CSUN took a 1-0 match lead, 25-22. Bianca Martinez (2), Ameena Campbell (2), Lyla Traylor (2), Laura Williams (1), Ketesia Hall (1) and Lolo Fonua (1) combined for all nine Titan kills in the first set. As a team, the Titans posted a .261 hitting percentage with an ace by Traylor. 

Traylor and Williams both collected three kills in the second set, contributing to the 13 Titan kills recorded. Fullerton kicked off the set ahead of the Matadors before powering to a 10-6 lead on a Martinez kill set up by Ryleigh Garis. CSUN matched the Titans at 14-14 after three consecutive attacking errors by Fullerton. Fullerton struggled to tie or retake the lead, allowing CSUN to go on a 6-0 scoring run before taking the set from the Titans, 25-21. 

Fullerton jumped to a 2-0 lead in the third set before the Titans and Matadors fought through four ties. The Titans went on a 4-0 scoring run to bring the match within three points, trailing CSUN 15-18. CSUN took the last 4-of-5 points, securing a sweep over the Titans. 

The Titans head to the central valley for their second meeting of the season with Cal State Bakersfield on Saturday at 4:00 p.m.
