Fullerton stayed on the attack in the second half, looking to put the game out of reach. Sulaiman Bah earned a penalty kick in the 51st minute which he was unable to convert but followed his shot to easily put the ball in the back of the net.
Following an almost complete line change by both teams late in the second half, Sacramento State got on the board in the 81st minute off a corner kick to cut the Titans lead to 3-1.
