BOISE, Idaho — Cal State Fullerton men's basketball fell 88-65 at Boise State Sunday in its final road non-conference matchup. The result moves the Titans to 6-5 on the season and snaps a four-game winning streak. 

Max Jones paced Fullerton with 19 points in 23 minutes of action, while DJ Brewton added 16 points, seven rebounds and three assists. Tory San Antonio contributed 12 points for the Titans. Fullerton out-scored the Broncos in bench points, 24-14, but trailed for the majority of the contest. Boise State out-rebounded the Titans 44-25 and scored 40 points in the paint to Fullerton's 22. 

Jones hit his first shot of the game, a three, to give the Titans an early 3-2 lead. But the Broncos scored the next 10 to take a 12-3 advantage. Donovan Oday and Jalen Cooper scored in the paint, as Boise State led 27-13 midway through the half. Jones paced Fullerton with 10 points in the first half but the Broncos took a 54-25 lead into the locker room. 

The Titans knocked down four three-pointers to start the second half, including two from Brewton, to cut their deficit to 59-37. Brewton hit three more baskets but Boise State maintained its cushion, as Fullerton trailed 70-47 halfway through the second period. Jones nailed a jumper at the top of the key and Vincent Lee hammered a fast-break dunk down the stretch, but Boise State ultimately came away with the 88-65 win. 

Fullerton returns home for its final non-conference matchup on Wednesday, Dec. 20, when it takes on Pacific at 7:00 p.m. PT.
