SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton men's soccer fell to Cal Poly on the road by a final score of 5-0 Sunday afternoon. The Titans are now 11-4-3 on the year and 5-2-1 in Big West play. 

Cal Poly jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the 23rd minute and would go on to score two more goals to lead 3-0 going into halftime. 

The Mustangs quickly erased any hope of a comeback in the second half, scoring 20 seconds in to take a 4-0 lead. Cal Poly scored its second goal of the second half in the 60th minute. 

Fullerton came into the game with a chance to lock up The Big West regular season title and the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament with a win or a share of the title with a draw. The Titans still remain in first place in the conference with 16 points. UC Santa Barbara is in second place with 14 points while UC Irvine sits in third place with 13 points. 

The Titans return home to Titan Stadium for the final regular season game Saturday against UC Santa Barbara. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. PT.
