FULLERTON, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton women's basketball guard Gabi Vidmar was named to the Big West All-Freshman Team on Monday.
Vidmar, who hails from Adelaide, Australia, has played in 18 of the team's 20 games this season and is fifth on the squad in scoring at 7.2 points per game. She has scored in double figures six times overall on the season. She scored a career-high 20 points against CSU Bakersfield on Jan. 30 and poured in 19 in the team's win over Cal Poly on Feb. 13. She also averages 1.9 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game.
Vidmar and the Titans open up the Big West Tournament on Tuesday at the Michelob Ultra Arena in Las Vegas at 12 p.m. PT. Fullerton will face UC Riverside on ESPN3.
