Cal State Fullerton

Truman Moore was hired as the Cal State Fullerton men’s basketball assistant coach in May of 2026.
 

Prior to joining the Fullerton Titans, Moore coached at the University of Tennessee, Martin as an assistant for two seasons. He was also promoted to director of recruiting during the summer of 2025. 

While serving as director of recruiting at UT Martin, Moore became an international recruiting specialist. During the three recruiting cycles with the Skyhawks, he was responsible for bringing in 30 international players. 

Moore grew up in Gilbert, Arizona before moving to Louisiana to attend McNeese State University. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Communications while playing basketball at the collegiate level. Moore is married to his wife, Averi and the couple is excited to welcome their second child in October of 2026.
