California State University, Fullerton

Michael joined the Titans coaching staff in 2021 as an assistant coach for the men’s and women’s programs. Prior to joining Cal State Fullerton, Pertusati coached Track & Field at Mater Dei High School and Vanguard University.
 
Pertusati is a former athlete as he competed on the UC Davis track & field team while pursuing a degree in Communications. He competed in throw events from 2016-2018. While with the Aggies, he recorded a lifetime best of 165-9 in the discus throw at the Big West Championship. In 2018, recorded the top Aggie marks in the shot put, discus throw and hammer throw.
