Marissa Lavezzari enters her second year as an assistant director of athletic communications. She joined the Titans Athletics staff as an intern in 2022, and has assisted in covering softball, women's volleyball, men's golf, water polo and women's basketball. 

She obtained her bachelor's degree in communications-journalism at Cal State Fullerton in 2024 after serving as a student lead on Dr. Gayle Brisbane's 2024 Paris Olympics Sports Media Study Abroad program in Paris, France. 

In 2023, Marissa spent the summer in Tacoma, Washington, as a media relations/communications intern for the Tacoma Rainiers, the Triple-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners. 

Before becoming a Titan, she spent two years studying at Golden West College and Orange Coast College, where she earned associates degrees in communication studies and journalism.

Marissa was the GWC Baseball and Softball reporter for two years. She spent the summer as a sports information and photography intern for the Orange County Riptide collegiate baseball team in Irvine, California. At OCC, she reported on sports, campus life, and local government issue for the Coast Report newspaper.
