Jay Darden was named Assistant Athletics Director for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion April 2023 and Director of Corporate Sponsorships July 2024. Prior to joining CSUF Athletics, Jay has had work stints with CSU San Marcos, United Negro College Fund, Howard University, Upward Bound Los Angeles-Volunteers of America, CSU Dominguez Hills and UCLA.  

A native of Portland, Oregon, Jay received his bachelor’s degree in Education from Western Oregon University in 2007 while competing as a Football Student-Athlete, and master’s degree in Sports Administration & Leadership from Seattle University in 2010. 

Jay now resides in Chino, Calif with his Wife Rashetta and daughters Raegan and Journey.
