Linley Ooi joined the women's golf coaching staff prior to the 2024-25 season. Ooi was previously a student-athlete on the women's golf team from 2021 to 2024.
In her first year coaching with the program the Titans had a historic season, winning its first ever Big West Championship title and advancing to the NCAA Regionals for the first time in program history. The Titans placed fifth in the regional to punch a ticket to the NCAA Championships, becoming just the eighth Big West team to do so and first since 2015. Fullerton was the first-ever No. 10 seed at a regional to make the NCAA Championship.
The Titans earned Big West Golfer of the Month four times throughout the 2024-25 season and had four individual tournament winners along with two team tournament wins. Four Titans earned Big West accolades following the 2024-25 season, the most in program history. Fullerton finished the year ranked No. 69 in the country, the highest final ranking in program history.
As a student-athlete with the team, Ooi competed in 27 tournaments with eight top-20 finishes. Ooi's best tournament was in March of 2023 when she placed 2nd at the Red Rocks Invitational with a 2-under par.
