Grace Gonzales was born on June 29, 1989, in West Covina,California... her parents are Alfred and Cristina Gonzales ofChino, California... she graduated (2007) from Ayala High School inChino Hills where she competed in the 1600 and 3200 meter races...she also attended Don Lugo High School in Chino... at Cal StateFullerton she has made the dean's list and was a Spring Big WestConference All-Academic selection in 2009 and 2010... she placedthird in the 10,000 meters and 11th in the 5,000 meters at the 2009Big West Conference Championships... in 2008 she was second in the10,000 meters and fourth in the 5000 meters... she also runs crosscountry for the Titans and earned Winter Big West ConferenceAll-Academic honors in 2008 and 2010... she placed 30th at the 2010BWC Championships and ninth in 2008 as a sophomore, the best finishby a Titan since 1991... as a freshman in 2007 she placed 25th atthe BWC Meet... she missed most of the 2009 season due toinjury.
