Aaron "A-Ray" Ray was born on Aug. 28, 1990, in Visalia,California... his parents are William Ray and Pamela Hardwick ofFresno, California... he graduated (2008) from Redwood High Schoolin Visalia, California, where he competed in the 200, 400, 4x100and 4x200 meter relays... he also played varsity football andbasketball... he earned high academic honors all four years... waspart of the Link Crew leadership program which matches upperclassmen with freshmen... member of the Black Student Union...graduated with a 4.0 gpa... didn't start running track until hisjunior year in high school... is a big fan of the Oregon Ducks andNike.
