A 2016 graduate of Troy High School in Fullerton, California… a three-time varsity Track and Field athlete and a two-time varsity Cross Country athlete under head coach Rich Chorpenning in the Freeway League… Personal Records include: 2:03 800m, 4:29 1600m, 9:59 3200m, and 15:47 for XC.

Born in Tijuana, Mexico to parents Jesus Sanchez and Bertha Velazqez… has one sister, Jasmine… majoring in Civil Engineering… Favorites include: Lasagna (food), CSUF Arboretum (places to run), Wayne Rooney (athlete), The Fox and the Hound (movie), and Elvis Presley (musical artist).
