WOLCOTT, Colo. – Cal State Fullerton women's golf climbed seven spots over the final two rounds to finish in 9th place at the Golfweek Red Sky Classic with a score of 9-under par 855. 

The Titans shot a 282 in the second round and a 275 in the third and final round on Wednesday to secure a ninth place finish. Fullerton's round three score of 275 is tied for the third best single round score in program history. 

Freshman Siham Ibrahim led the Titans individually, tying for 19th place after shooting 6-under par 210. Ibrahim opened the tournament with a 2-over par 74 before finding her rhythm, carding a 3-under par 69 in the second round and a 5-under par 67 in the final round. After sitting tied for 58th following the opening round, Ibrahim climbed 39 spots over the final two rounds to finish tied for 19th.

Mitzi Duarte shot 4-under par 212 to finish the three-day tournament tied for 26th. Similar to Ibrahim, Duarte worked her way up the leaderboard in the final two rounds. The senior was for 50th after shooting 1-over par 73 in the round before shooting even par 72 and 5-under par 67 in the third round. 

Duarte and Ibrahim are the first Titan duo to shoot a 67 in the same tournament as well as the same round in program history. 

Vera Lee carded a 2-under par 214 to finish tied for 34th. The freshman opened with a 4-over par 76 before closing the tournament with back-to-back rounds of 3-under-par 69. Lee climbed 44 spots from a tie for 78th after the opening round to finish tied for 34th.

Zara Ali placed tied for 59th after shooting 3-over par 219 (75-72-72). Addison Kloch shot 20-over par 236 to finish tied for 105th (80-79-77). 

The Titans have a week off before returning to play Oct. 5-6 at the Pat Lesser-Harbottle Invitational in Lakewood, Wash.
