FORT COLLINS, Colo. — The Cal State Fullerton men's golf team opened the 2026-27 season tied for second place after shooting 12-over par 852 (289-286-277) at the Ram Masters Invitational. 

The Titans led the competition with 166 pars, while Jack Yeager's 38 pars individually tied for second with Tulsa's Thomas Herholtz. 

Shibo Wang tied for 13th place, leading the Titans with a 3-over-par 213 (73-73-67). Lance Nguyen and Stephen Luo shared a 15th-place finish after shooting 4-over par 214. Nguyen (71-73-70) and Luo (76-69-69) both recorded an eagle on Monday. 

Jack Yeager climbed four spots on the final day to finish tied for 24th. Yeager shot 6-over par 216 (70-75-71), recording two birdies and a par on the 580-yard 15th hole, the longest hole on the course.

Eliot Vidal rounded out the Titans' starting five in Fort Collins, Colorado. He finished tied for 67th place after shooting 13-over par 223 (75-71-77). 

The Titans return to action at the Oregon State Invitational on Oct. 5-6 in Corvallis, Oregon.
