FULLERTON, Calif. - Seha Yu was the last man standing as she won the final match of the day in the Titans women's tennis team 4-3 win over the Pacific Tigers on Friday at the Titan Courts.

The Titans improved to 5-2 overall for the season and are on a 4-game winning streak and a three game win streak at home.

It came down to the final match on No. 4 singles with the score tied 3-3.  Seha Yu had won the first set 7-5 over her opponent Nahreen Cheam on Court 4.  In the second set, Yu was broken early and was down 3-2, 4-3, and 5-4 in the set.  She came back to tie the second set 5-5 before winning the final two games to earn the straight set, 7-5, 7-5 win to give the Titans their fourth and clinching point of the match.

The Titans had to play down 1-0 after dropping the doubles point.  They played out all the matches despite losing on Court 2 and Court 3 in doubles.  

In singles, the Titans quickly regained that point back and went ahead 3-1 as Milena Gevorgyan won in straight sets on Court 6, 6-1, 6-3.  Chloe Schwarz won on straight sets on Court 5, 6-3, 6-1.  Amelia Zylberman won in straight sets on Court 3 6-2, 6-2.  

It looked like the Titans day would be over soon as Martina Markov had won the first set 6-1 and was leading 4-2 in the second set.  However, she wasn't able to close out the second set to send it to a third.  The Tigers got one point back on Court 3 after a 6-1, 6-4 win to make it a 3-2 game.  In Court 1, the Tigers clawed another point back in three sets to tie the game at 3-3 setting up the dramatic finish for Seha Yu on Court 4.

The Titans will host San Jose State on Sunday at 11:00 a.m. to close out a 4-game home stand.
