Titans Garner Three All-Conference Honors in Tennis

IRVINE, Calif. - The Big West Conference announced the 2025 yearly honors on Thursday and the Titans were represented by three different players. Sein Myoung received the top honor for the Titans after being named to the All-Big West First Team in singles. Seha Yu represented the Titans twice after earning a Second Team All-Big West Honor in singles and a Honorable Mention in doubles.  Kaytlin Taylor finished off her Tittans four year career after sharing the honorable mention in doubles with Seha Yu. 

Sein Myoung was named to the All-Big West First Team in singles for the second time in her career. The sophomore completed a perfect 9-0 record in singles play at the No. 1 spot in Big West play.  She finished the season with a 15-4 record in singles in the No. 1 spot and on a 12-game winning streak. Myoung lost her first three matches of the season on the road at Northern Arizona, Grand Canyon, and Loyola Marymount before winning 15 of her 17 matches.  Myoung's only other loss after the first three came against the No. 97 ranked player in singles in Cheuk Ying Shek at San Jose State.

Seha Yu was named to the All-Big West Second Team in singles and named an Honorable Mention in doubles.  Both of these honors were the first in her career for the Titans.  The sophomore went 11-6 overall in singles for the season and 6-3 in conference play for the Titans.  Her partnership with Kaytlin Taylor in doubles led them to 12-6 record.  They were strong for the Titans in the No. 3 spot where went 10-5 and finished the year in the No. 2 spot where they went 2-1.

Kaytlin Taylor was named a Big West Honorable Mention in doubles.  For the senior, it was the first postseason honors of her career.  Her partnership with Seha Yu in doubles led them to 12-6 record.  They were strong for the Titans in the No. 3 spot where went 10-5 and finished the year in the No. 2 spot where they went 2-1.  Kaytlin Taylor finished off four-year Titans career with 40 career wins in singles and 39 career wins in doubles.  '

The Titans finished the season with a 10-10 overall record and a 4-5 record in Big West play.  The Titans were the No. 7 seed in the Big West Championship where they were eliminated in the 1st round against the No. 6 seeded CSUN Matadors. The Titans had two seniors on the team and have seven players scheduled to come back from last year's roster.
