LAS VEGAS – Cal State Fullerton women's golf placed third at The Big West Championship, equaling its best finish at the conference tournament in program history in 2011-12 with a score of 37-over par 901.Â
Davina Xanh led the team individually with a tied for fifth place finish to earn Big West All-Tournament team. Xanh came back from tied for 24th after round one to earn a top five finishing after shooting 4-over par 220 (79-72-69). The sophomore finishes the season placing in the top 10 in each of the Titans 10 tournaments this season.
Gabby Minier had her best placing of the season, finishing the three-day tournament tied for eighth place after shooting 7-over par 223 (76-72-75). Linley Ooi shot a 11-over par 227 (74-80-73) to place tied for 11th.Â
Kajsa Landstrom shot 23-over par 239 (78-85-76) to place tied for 37th. Katharina Zeilinger started the tournament for the Titans and shot a 19-over par 163 (82-81) in the first two rounds before Kaitlyn Zermeno Smith replaced her in the third round and shot an even par 72.
