ROME, Georgia - The Cal State Fullerton Titans women's tennis duo of
Sein Myoung and
Mariia Nikitash competed at the ITA Conference Masters Tournament in at the Rome Tennis Center at Berry College. The Titans were representing the Big West conference in women's doubles for the tournament.
They lost their first round match up in the main draw 3-6, 3-6 against Andrea Beltran/Marley Lambert of the University of Denver on Thursday.
On Friday, the duo were placed in the consolation bracket where they won both of their matches on Friday.  In their first round of the consolation bracket they defeated Natalia Michta/Liliya Dimova (Seattle) 6-3* (the Seattle side retired due to injury before the second set).  In the consolation quarterfinals they defeated Diana Zuba/Dasha Chichkina (Saint Francis University) 6-4, 6-4
In the consolation semifinals on Saturday they were defeated by Daniella Oneil/Maria Turchetto (Liberty) 3-6, 3-6
This was the last tournament for the Titans for the 2024 Fall Season. They will begin the dual season in January of 2025. Â
