Titans Compete at the ITA Southwest Regional

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The Cal State Fullerton Titans women's tennis competed in their second tournament of the fall season this past weekend at the ITA Southwest Regionals hosted by the University of San Diego and San Diego State.

In the singles main draw, the Titans had three players make it the Round of 64.  However, Sein Myoung, Kaytlin Taylor, and Diana Yanotovskaya could not make it past that round

In the doubles tournament the Titans had four pairings compete. Three of the four pairings won their first round matches. Sein Myoung/Mariia Nikitash defeated Tallia Harper/Emma Moratalla Sanz (CSUN) 8-3. Kaytlin Taylor/Diana Yanotovskaya defeated Karissa Ghigiarelli/Stephanie Shogreen (UofA) 8-3. And Milena Gevorgyan/Seha Yu defeated Hannah Read/Kristina Nordikyan (USD) 8-7 (7-4).  However, all three pairings did not make it past their Round of 32 opponents.

The Titans will compete next the Jack Kramer Invitational and the Pompona Pitzer Invitational the following weekend.
