LOS ANGELES, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton (19-12) struggled offensively as they were swept in the doubleheader at Loyola Marymount on Thursday. The Lions took game one by the score of 4-3 and game two 3-0 to win the series.

In game one, the Titans got things going early plating a run in the top of the first courtesy of a Deshea Hill RBI single to bring in Alexa Neil and on another in the fourth as a pair of errors on a Neil bunt allowed a run to come in.

Dani Martinez was dealing through the first half of the game allowing just one hit in four shutout frames.

LMU would finally get to Martinez in the fifth and do all of their damage plating four runs on three hits and a walk to give them a 4-2 lead.

Fullerton attempted a seventh inning rally as they brought a run across as Hill grounded into a double play, but the Lions would hang on for the 4-3 win.

Alexa Neil: 3-for-3, 2R, RBI
Daisy Munoz: 1-for-4, 2RBI, extended hit streak to eight games

Sophie Frost: 1.2 IP, H, ER, 2BB, 2K

After a 30-minute break between games, the Titans and Lions were back at it in game two.

Taylor Dockins got the start in the circle and did her part to keep her team in it, but the offense could not get anything going against Linnay Wilson as they mustered only one hit in the contest and were no-hit through 5.1 innings.

Dockins allowed a run to come across in the second on a pair of singles with a sacrifice bunt, but held the Lions in check until the sixth inning where they brought two unearned runs across.

Fullerton went down without a fight in the seventh as they were swept by LMU falling 3-0 in game two.

Alexa Neil: 1-for-3

Taylor Dockins (L, 2-4): CG, 6 IP, 4H, 3R (1 ER), 2BB, 2K

The Titans will look to salvage a win in the series tomorrow as they close out the three-game set against LMU at 2:30 p.m.
