FULLERTON, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton women's golf travels to Palm Desert for the Cowgirl Desert Intercollegiate hosted by the University of Wyoming Saturday and Sunday at The Classic Club.
Competing as Individuals:
The Course: The Classic Club course is a nationally recognized championship course designed by Arnold Palmer and a host site of the 2006, 2007, and 2008 Bob Hope Chrysler Classic, creates a new spin on desert golf with rolling terrain, wide landing areas, 30 acres of water features, 14 bridges as well as an abundance of pine trees and pine straw ground cover.
The Field: Cal State Fullerton, California Baptist, Cal State Bakersfield, Cal State Northridge, Santa Clara, Southern Utah, UC Riverside, UTEP, Montana, North Dakota, Texas-Arlington, Wyoming.
Last Time on the Green: Fullerton finished fifth at the Battle at Old Works tournament with a score of 73-over par 937. Elsa Lundquist led the way individually for the Titans, finishing 12th with a score of 16-over par 232.
