Men's Basketball Hosts Successful Blue/Orange Scrimmage

FULLERTON, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton men's basketball returned to Titan Gym on Friday night for the first time this season to give the Titan fans a chance to see the defending Big West Tournament Champions. The Titans played three 10-minute periods, then a three-point contest followed by a dunk contest.

Khalil Ahmad led the way in scoring with 37 points (unofficial) for the Blue squad but they ultimately lost to Orange by a score of 64-61.

Wayne Arnold won the three-point contest against a student from the crowd and then Landon Kirkwood showed off his athleticism in the dunk contest.

Head coach Dedrique Taylor then said a few words to the crowd before the night ended with the student-athletes signing autographs for the fans in attendance.

The squad will return to Titan Gym for an exhibition match on Saturday at 2 p.m. PT against San Diego Christian before opening up the season at Arizona State on Nov. 6.
