SEATTLE – Cal State Fullerton competed with the nation's very best and turned in some strong showings at the MPSF Championships, Friday at Dempsey Indoor.
Tatiana Bell led the way for the Titans in the women's 200-meter dish final, recording a time of 25.16 to claim 36th place, while Kiana Clay Alayah Byers followed close behind with times of 25.90 and 26.29 respectively. Bell's strong opening day continued in the 60-meter dash, as she placed 30th with a time of 7.70 in preliminary action.
Alayah Byers and Onyx Gaston also earned themselves top 50 finishes in the 60-meter.
Kyra Anderson placed 20th in the 60-meter hurdle prelims with a competitive time of 8.86.
Alysse McMillen and Bryn Williamson were Fullerton's top finishers in the women's pole vault, as each recorded leaps of 11-09.75, good for 24th. Kyra Anderson also impressed in the long jump, with a jump of 5.12 meters, good for 18th (5.08). Gaston and Laura Hamann (5.05) finished close behind.
Jordan Agnew put up a top 10 finish in the women's 800 meter run with an impressive time of 2:31.40 to round out the top performers for the Titans.
Fullerton will conclude MPSF Championship completion on Saturday.
