Women's Indoor Track and Field Ready for Colorado Invitational

FULLERTON, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton women's indoor track and field heads to Boulder, Colo., to compete in the Colorado Invitational this weekend at Colorado's Indoor Practice Facility. Competition for CSF begins on Friday at 9:30 a.m. PT and Saturday at 10 a.m. PT. You can follow along via live results here, view the meet schedule here and see heat sheets here.

In addition to the host Colorado Buffaloes, CSF is set to compete against Adams State, Air Force Academy, Azusa Pacific, Colorado State, Portland State, University of Colorado-Colorado Springs, Wyoming and others. 

Fifteen Titans are set to compete this weekend, including Kiana Clay, Alysse McMillen and Bryn Williamson who are making their season debuts.

Last weekend at the UW Invitational, Sam Huerta set a new school record in the indoor mile with a time of 4:54.55, besting her previous school record of 5:01.67.

As the 2018 season has begun, cross country and track and field head coach John Elders enters his 30th season at the helm of each program making him the longest tenured head coach in the history of Cal State Fullerton. Cal State Fullerton won the 2017 Big West Men's Outdoor Track and Field Championships, the first conference title in program history.

CSF will return to Washington's Dempsey Indoor for the Husky Classic (Feb. 9-10) and the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) Championships (Feb. 23-24) to wrap up the indoor season.

The Ticket Office is located at the Titan House off of Gymnasium Drive at the eastern end of the Intramural Fields and is open from 10 am – 4 pm PT, Monday – Friday.
