Fullerton, Calif. - The Cal State Fullerton volleyball program is hosting "Pink Night," this Saturday, Oct. 23, in its support of breast cancer awareness. The Titans will be hosting the Long Beach State 49ers in a crucial Big West Conference match in Titan Gym beginning at 7 p.m.
Anyone attending the game wearing "pink" will be admitted free with hopes they might make a monetary donation to the cause. The Titans will also be selling bracelets and handing out pink ribbons at the event.
Proceedes from the event will be donated to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation.
The first-place Titans (17-4, 6-1) hold a slim 1-match lead over the visiting 49ers (15-5, 5-2) in league action. Fullerton is riding a 6-match winning streak and have won 13 of their last 14 matches. They have also won all 11 of their matches in Titan Gym.
