Cal State Fullerton had the chance to finish last season above .500 for the fifth time in head coach Carolyn Zimmerman's tenure, but the Titans ended the year on a three-match losing streak to derail that opportunity.

Fullerton completed the season with an overall record of 15-16, and tied for fifth in the Big West Conference standings with a mark of 9-9. For just the third time in Fullerton's league history, the Titans totaled at least nine wins, also completing the feat in 2010 with 14 wins and 2008 with nine Big West victories.

Prior to Zimmerman taking over the program for the 2002 season, the Titans had only recorded double-digit win seasons on seven occasions in 26 years. Since 2002, Fullerton has totaled nine double-digit win seasons in Zimmerman's 11-year tenure.

Entering her 12th season at Cal State Fullerton, Carolyn Zimmerman possesses an all-time record of 162-169 (.489). The sixth head coach in Fullerton's 37-year history, Zimmerman is the winningst (.489) head coach in CSF volleyball program history.

Cal State Fullerton welcomes back four returning starters, seniors Leah Beast and Bre Moreland and sophomores Julie Consani and Holland Crenshaw. Moreland, a 2012 Big West honorable mention pick, spent her summer training with the USA U23 Beach National Team.
