Rams' Depth Beats Titans, 5-2

Fullerton, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton won the No. 1 and No. 2 singles matches but Colorado State (5-6) came away with a 5-2 non-conference women's tennis victory Monday afternoon on a warm and breezy afternoon on the Titan courts.

Fullerton's Tiffany Mai beat Laura Neal, 7-5, 6-2, at No. 1 and Monica Rodriguez picked up a point at No. 2 with a 6-3, 6-4 win over Tori Arneson. Mai and Rodriguez also teamed up to win the No. 1 doubles match but the Rams won at Nos. 2 and 3 to garner the team doubles point and then won Nos. 3 thru 6 in singles.

Fullerton (1-8, 0-4) is back in action Wednesday afternoon hosting Houston.
