Titans Can't Match Bruins Fire Power

Feb. 28, 2009

FULLERTON, CA - The Cal State Fullerton women's tennis team had a hard time getting anything going against UCLA in its 7-0 loss on Titan Courts, Saturday.

The match with the Bruins was a late addition to the Titans (2-7, 0-2) 2009 schedule. Their match with No. 8 UCLA (10-2) was put on the schedule Tuesday, Feb. 24.

The doubles teams for the Titans couldn't find their rhythm to start the match and the Bruins jumped out to an early 1-0 lead. CSF head coach Bill Reynolds inserted Lani Agsalud into the lineup in the No. 6 position to try and shake things up, but UCLA just had too many weapons.

The Titans take the court against Loyola Marymount on Titan Courts, March 5 at 2 p.m. in a non-conference match.
