Fullerton Returns to Action Thursday
FULLERTON, Calif. – Currently on a three-match winning streak, Cal State Fullerton (4-4, 2-1) returns to action on Thursday hosting UC San Diego at the Titan Tennis Courts with the match time set for 2 p.m.

Cal State Fullerton enters the week on a three-match winning streak, defeating Cal State Northridge, Southern Utah and No. 65 Hawai'i. Sophomore Kalika Slevcove leads the Titans with a 6-1 dual match record, while Emilia Borkowski (5-3), Morgan McIntosh (4-3) and Megan Sandford (3-1) each have winning records as regular members of the Titans' lineup.

Kalika Slevcove may have needed three sets, but the sophomore's victory over Kelsey Daguio clinched Cal State Fullerton's 4-3 win against No. 65 Hawai'i on Wednesday afternoon at Titan Courts.
The match had to be finished at the Fullerton Tennis Center due to darkness.
The Titans have now won their last three matches, bringing their overall record to 4-4 while improving to 2-1 in Big West Conference action. The Rainbow Wahine fall to 1-3 overall and 1-1 in league play.
Slevcove, playing at the No. 5 spot of the lineup, improved her singles record to 6-1 with the match-winning 4-6, 7-6 (5), 7-5 win over Daguio.
The day started with Fullerton taking a 1-0 lead by clinching the doubles point as Tiffany Mai and Monica Rodriguez partnered at No. 1 to defeat Daguio and Katarina Poljakova, 8-3. Emilia Borkowski and Megan Sandford easily handled Kelly Domingo and Martina Kostalova, 8-2, at No. 3.
Sandford was the first Titan to claim a singles win, knocking off Rebecca Faltusz, 6-1, 6-4. Morgan McIntosh improved to 4-3 in 2013 with a 6-2, 6-3 win over Xenia Suworowa at No. 2 as the Titans got the three singles victories they needed.
UC San Diego heads to Cal State Fullerton with a 4-1 record. The Tritons are currently ranked 32nd in the Division II Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings. The Titans will be UCSD's first Division I opponent of the year. Last season, Fullerton defeated UCSD, 5-2, in an early-season match on Feb. 1, 2012.
New Mexico State travels to Cal State Fullerton with a 1-2 record. The Aggies defeated Weber State, 5-2, but have suffered losses to UNLV (0-7) and Pacific (2-5). The last time the Aggies and Titans played was March 22, 2011, with Fullerton holding off NMSU, 4-3.
