FULLERTON, CA - The Cal State Fullerton softball team has announced a slate of five fall scrimmages in preparation for the upcoming 2010 season at Anderson Family Field.
The schedule opens on Oct. 13 with a nine-inning contest against Cypress College at 2 p.m. and continues 11 days later with another nine-inning contest against Cal State San Marcos on Oct. 24 at 10 a.m.
Fullerton will then host a three-team round-robin tournament on Halloween, welcoming Mt. San Antonio College and San Diego to Orange County. The Titans open against Mt. SAC at 9 a.m. before taking on the Toreros at 11:15 a.m. The Mounties and USD then meet at 1:30 p.m. to close out the tournament.
The fall schedule concludes on Nov. 5 with a single game against Mt. SAC at 4 p.m.
Cal State Fullerton, coming off a 30-21 season (17-4 in the Big West Conference for second place) that saw the Titans advance to the NCAA Tournament for the fifth consecutive season, opens the 2010 regular season on Feb. 12, taking on Kentucky and Northwestern at the Kajikawa Classic in Phoenix.
