FULLERTON, CA - Cal State Fullerton's doubleheader with Purdue scheduled for Saturday afternoon (Feb. 7) at 3 p.m. has been cancelled due to heavy rains and poor field conditions at Anderson Family Field.
In an attempt to salvage opening weekend, the Titans have scheduled a doubleheader (weather permitting) against Indiana on Sunday (Feb. 8) beginning at 10 a.m. The forecast for Sunday calls for temperatures in the 60's with a 40 percent chance of rain in the Fullerton area at game time.
Following Sunday's games, Fullerton will be in action next weekend as the Titans travel to Las Vegas to compete in the Louisville Slugger Desert Classic hosted by UNLV.
Cal State Fullerton is scheduled to meet Oregon State, Oregon, Virginia, Utah, and Northwestern in the three-day event that begins on Friday (Feb. 13).
