Titan Recruit Has Wish Granted By Make-A-Wish Foundation
FULLERTON, Calif. – After getting a cancerous tumor removed in 2016, incoming Titan softball recruit Taylor Dockins got to live her dream of exploring New York City and seeing the crystal ball drop on New Year's Eve, courtesy of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Dockins was contacted by the foundation after her tumor was removed and got her wish granted this past week. To watch her journey through the Big Apple, click here.
Dockins joined the Titan family back in November when she signed her National Letter of Intent during the early signing period. She has built up quite the resume in her time at Norco High by earning Big 8 All-League (three times), All-Inland (three times) and All-State (three times).
The standout pitcher/first baseman led the Cougars to two conference titles while helping them win the CIF-SS Championship in her sophomore campaign. She also was named a Max Preps Junior All-American last season. The Norco native was a Titan Tuffy when she was eight and it has always been a dream of hers to play for the Titans.
"Taylor is a complete package, being one of the top pitchers in the CIF while also swinging a powerful bat," coach Kelly Ford said. "I expect her to excel for us in both areas."
