Changes Made to Softball's Final Fall Weekend

FULLERTON, Calif. -- The final weekend of fall scrimmages for the Cal State Fullerton softball team has been adjusted to include a pair of changes for the Titans' final two games.

Following Friday night's (Nov. 9) scrimmage against Concordia at 6 p.m., Fullerton will host Southwestern College on Thursday afternoon (Nov. 15) at 3:30 p.m., before welcoming College of the Canyons on Saturday morning (Nov. 17) at 11 a.m.

All scrimmages are open to the public with free admission.

Cal State Fullerton officially opens the 2013 regular season under first-year head coach Kelly Ford on Feb. 7, as the Titans host Southern Miss in a doubleheader at Anderson Family Field beginning at 3 p.m.

Fullerton returns six starters and 14 letter winners overall, including three-quarters of its pitching staff, off of last season's squad that finished 20-31 overall and 8-13 in the Big West Conference. The Titans welcome nine new faces for the 2013 season, including a pair of Division I transfers, a junior college standout, and six freshmen.
