Cal State Fullerton graduate and standout midfielder Stacey Webster will enter her fourth season as an assistant coach with the Titans' women's soccer program in 2016.
In three years with the Titans as a coach, Webster, formerly Fox, has been part of three consecutive Big West Tournament championships and NCAA Tournament appearances (2013, 2014, 2015), as well as two Big West regular season championships in 2014 and 2015.
During her three seasons with the Titans, Cal State Fullerton has totaled a 34-18-13 (.623) overall record along with a mark of 15-5-4 (.708) in the Big West Conference. In addition, forward Rebecca Wilson garnered the program’s first National Soccer Coaches Association First Team All-America honor in 2015, while the Titans have totaled nine NSCAA All-West Region accolades, two Big West Conference Offensive Player of the Year awards, two Big West Conference Midfielder of the Year awards, two Big West Conference Tournament MVP accolades, one Big West Conference Defensive Player of the Year honor, 18 Big West Conference all-league awards and 12 Big West Conference Player of the Week honors.
Off the pitch, Cal State Fullerton has produced two candidates for the Senior CLASS Award, two Big West Scholar Athletes of the Year and 26 Big West Conference All-Academic honors.
In 2015, the Titans received their first NSCAA national ranking since 2008, while setting records for most home wins (11) and fewest defeats (3) in a single season. In 2014, Fullerton went undefeated for the second time in Big West Conference matches (6-0-2).
Webster completed her collegiate career with Fullerton in 2012, earning All-West Region Second Team honors from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America for the second consecutive season -- one of only 15 Titans to be named to the all-region team since 1996 and only the third of six to earn multiple awards from the NSCAA, joining Karen Bardsley, Jenae Gibbens, Morgan Batcheller, Christina Burkenroad and Rebecca Wilson.
A first-team all-conference performer for the first time in her career as a senior, Webster led the Titans in scoring 2012, finishing with a team-high seven goals and 16 points to go with two assists and three game-winning strikes. She started 17 of the 18 matches she appeared in, helping Fullerton to a 10-9-1 overall record and a Big West regular season title with a 7-2 mark in league play.
After suffering a season-ending injury that sidelined her for all of 2010, Webster was a third-team NSCAA All-West Region selection as a redshirt junior in 2011, finishing tied for second on the team in points (10) and tied for the team lead in goals (5) in 15 starts. She also tied for the team lead in points (6) and goals (3) as a sophomore and was an All-Big West Honorable Mention choice as a freshman, appearing in all 19 matches as a rookie and leading the team with five goals and 13 points.
