KICK OFF: Fresh off its first win of the 2012 campaign, the Cal State Fullerton women's soccer team (1-3 overall) takes it down a notch with only one match this week. After three straight on the road, the Titans play only their second home match of the season on Thursday night (Aug. 30) at 7 p.m. as they welcome #21 Oregon State to Titan Stadium.
IN THE POLLS: Cal State Fullerton is unranked… Oregon State is ranked as high as No. 21 in the nation according to Soccer America and No. 23 by both the NSCAA and Soccer Times.

OREGON STATE BRIEFLY: The Beavers are a perfect 3-0 to start the 2012 season, posting wins over UAB and in-state rivals Portland and Portland State… Oregon State has surrendered just one goal all season while scoring four of its own… the match against Fullerton on Thursday begins a four-game stretch against Big West Conference opponents for the Beavers and will be the first match outside the state of Oregon all year… senior midfielder Megan Miller leads the team with three points -- all coming on assists in 2012, while four different players have found the back of the net -- three of them scoring game-winners…Audrey Bernier-Larose has started all three matches in net, posting a 0.33 goals against average, nine saves, and two shutouts.
HEAD-TO-HEAD: Thursday's match will mark the third meeting between the Titans and Beavers with Oregon State winning the previous two match ups… Including Thursday's match, all three meetings will have been played in Fullerton… OSU posted a 3-1 win in 1994 and a 4-1 victory in 1998.
Cal State Fullerton has lost its last three matches against nationally ranked opposition dating to a 2-0 victory over then-No. 18 UNC Greensboro on Sept. 5, 2010, and are 4-12 overall against ranked teams under Head Coach Demian Brown dating to 2007.
PAC-12 WINS AT A PREMIUM: Cal State Fullerton is winless in its last four contests against Pac-12 schools, with a pair of losses to USC and draws against Washington and conference newcomer Utah dating back to the 2009 season. The Titans' last victory over a Pac-12 school was in 2008 when they upset then-No. 15 California on the road by a 3-2 score in overtime and are just 3-5-2 in their last 10 against the league.
OOOOOOVVVEERRRTIME: A change of scenery certainly didn't do anything to change Fullerton's fortunes when it came to overtime as the Titans suffered yet another 2-1 extra-time setback at Michigan last weekend. Fullerton, which tied an NCAA record with 11 overtime contests in 2011 (4-4-3 in those games), has now played 31 overtime matches over a span of 103 total games in Head Coach Demian Brown's five-plus seasons at the helm.
SLY AS A FOX: Senior Stacey Fox's two goals last weekend in Michigan catapulted her up the school's scoring charts, giving her 15 for her career (one of only 17 players in the history of the program to reach double digits in the category) and moving her into a tie for ninth on the career list with Kelly Bogan (1995-98). Coupled with her four career assists, Fox's 34 points are just one back of Barbie Gil for 10th on the list, becoming the first Titan since Christina Murillo in 2010 to break onto that list. In other records news, Fox also ranks tied for 10th in career game-winning goals and her 85 career shots are just five shy of the top 10.
A-MAZEAU-ING: Junior Erica Mazeau is here to help. Entering the season with just one assist in her first two seasons, the Yorba Linda native has opened the floodgates in 2012, notching an assist in each of the last three matches -- including the last two on goals by teammate Stacey Fox.
THANK YOU, FANS!: Cal State Fullerton's season-opening match against Southern California rival USC drew 1,063 fans to the Titan Stadium stands -- only the seventh time in the history of the program that the Titans drawn at least 1,000 people, but the fifth time it has happened since 2001.
