KAPALUA, Hawaii – Cal State Fullerton women's golf finished the Ānuenue Spring Break Classic Wednesday in 12th place after shooting a 57-over par 921.
Louisville took first place after winning the team tie-breaker of Hawaii with a score 15-over par 879. Host university Hawaii finished second with Kaci Masuda taking first place individually with a 4-under par 212.
For the Titans individually Elsa Lundquist once again led the team with a tied for 18th place finish with a score of 8-over par 224. Lundquist shot her best score of the tournament in round three with a 2-over par 74 to move up from 23rd place on the final day.
Courtney Sharkey finished the tournament tied for 38th place after shooting a 12-over par 228. Sharkey started off the tournament strong with a 74 in round one but fell back after shooting a 75 in round two and 79 in round three.
Paulin Welker placed 47th with a score of 16-over par 232, shooting a 77 in both rounds one and three and a 78 in round two. Brittany Farrell earned a tied for 54th place finish with a 21-over par 237 (81, 77, 79). Felicia Medalla finished tied for 58th at 23-over par 239 (82, 78, 79).
Fullerton looks to regroup as they prepare for the Big West Championship beginning April 15 in Irvine, Calif.
