Fullerton, Calif. - Andrea Adams scored 20 points and Charlee Underwood added 19 Saturday afternoon to lead Cal State Fullerton to a 76-67 Big West Conference women's basketball victory over Cal Poly SLO. The victory in the final home game of the year lifted Fullerton's record to 10-16 overall and 7-7 in the Big West. Cal Poly got 17 points from Jessica Eggleston while falling to 10-13 overall and 5-7 in the Big West.
The Titans outscored the Mustangs, 8-1, over the final two and a half minutes with Adams hitting a bucket for a 70-66 lead and the Titans going 5-for-8 at the foul line in the final 90 seconds.
Fullerton finishes 9-3 in Titan Gym for the season and 6-1 in conference play. It has only a non-conference game at UC Davis on Thursday prior to the Big West Tournament which begins March 8 at the Anaheim Convention Center.
