FULLERTON, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton women's basketball student-athlete Daeja Smith was named to the All-Conference Second Team the Big West Conference announced Monday.
Smith led the Titans in points per game with 12.5 and rebounds per game with 9.3, nearly averaging a double-double for the season. Her 12.5 PPG average ranks 10th in the conference and 9.3 RPG ranks third in the Big West.
The redshirt junior totalled 350 points the season to give her 808 points for her career at Cal State Fullerton while moving into second for most blocks all-time in program history with 100.
The center finished off the season strong with 17 points and 11 rebounds against UC Davis and then closed out the final game of the season by grabbing a career-high 17 rebounds to go along with 18 points. Smith totalled 13 double-doubles this season, ranking second in the Big West.
