Head Coach Daron Park to Speak at Hometown Coaching Clinic

FULLERTON, Calif.— Current Cal State Fullerton head women's basketball coach Daron Park has been announced as a speaker at the Montana Coaches Association's 46th Annual Multi-Sports Clinic on July 31- Aug. 2.

The event will be held at Great Falls High School in Park's hometown of Great Falls, Montana.  Park, a 1989 graduate of Great Falls High, is excited to share his insight and experiences from his coaching journey with coaches and administrators from all over Montana and the northwest.

"I am humbled and honored to be asked to speak at the MCA clinic," said Park. "This is a clinic that I grew up attending annually and had the opportunity to meet and learn from so many great coaches who have spoken over the years. I never imagined someday having the opportunity to come back and speak at such an important function associated with coaching and coaches in Montana."

The clinic will feature over 50 guest coaches and sports administrators specializing in a plethora of different sports from all over the country. For more information on the clinic please visit www.montanacoaches.com

The Great Falls native was hired as Fullerton's new head women's basketball coach on April 3, 2013. This is Park's first Division I head coaching appointment after spending nine seasons as an assistant coach at the Division I level.
