Eight Titans Receive All-Conference Honors

FULLERTON, Calif. – The Fullerton men's soccer program racked up eight Big West All-Conference honors honors headlined by Ross McPhie and Robert Coronado who were named to the first team the conference announced Tuesday.

This is the second consecutive year that McPhie has been named to the Big West Conference First Team. McPhie scored two goals and five assists on the season to give him nine points. His five assists were tied for most on the team alongside Coronado.

After missing all of last season due to injuries, Coronado rebounded this year, racking up five assists and one goal. His five assists this season gives him 17 for his career, ranking him tied for eighth all-time in the history of the program.

Samuel Goni, Paul-Andre Guerin and Mark Hernandez were named to the Big West All-Conference Second Team. This is Goni and Guerin's second all-conference honor after being named to the second team and honorable mention in 2017, respectively.

Goni led the team with 14 points this season on a team-leading six goals while adding two assists. Mark Hernandez had a great senior season for Fullerton after transferring from Golden West prior to the 2017 season. Hernandez recorded two goals and two assists on the season to give him six points.

Goalkeeper Paul-Andre Guerin continued to climb up the record books throughout the season after recording seven shutouts. Guerin now has 15 shutouts for his career to leave him tied for fourth all-time in the history of the program.

The honorable mention list included sophomore forward Christian Pinzon after his successful second year. Pinzon was second on the team with five goals and 10 points in 2018.

Zico Bailey and Edward Salazar were named to the Big West All-Freshman team. Bailey made several plays for the Titans in the midfield while recording one goal and two assists on the season.
