FULLERTON, Calif.— Coming off a successful 2012 campaign that ended in a trip to the Big West Tournament semifinals, the Titans now look ahead to a new season where they aim to qualify for the postseason for a second consecutive year, as they released their 2013 fall schedule Monday afternoon.

Cal State Fullerton's 2013 schedule features 19 regular season matches, highlighted by an eight-game home slate at Titan Stadium.

The Titans will open the new season Aug. 30 vs. the University of Albany in Northridge, California. Fullerton will play six of its first seven contests away from Titan Stadium, with its home opener coming in the middle of that span on Sept. 6 vs. Loyola Marymount.

The non-conference schedule will take the Titans as far as New York, where they'll face Cornell on Sept. 13 and Colgate on Sept. 15. Fullerton will also venture to Nebraska where it'll play Nebraska-Omaha on Sept. 21.

"The non-conference schedule will give us an excellent opportunity to challenge ourselves against eight different conferences prior to our Big West slate," said head coach Bob Ammann." The RPI requires having a schedule that isn't heavy against one particular conference or region so over 50 percent of our non-conference schedule is against out of region opponents."

"This should give us an excellent idea of where we stack up while helping the Big West Conference continue to prove that it is one of the top conferences in the country."

The Titans will open Big West play on Oct. 4 at UC Santa Barbara, while their home conference opener will take place on Oct. 11 when they take on UC Davis at Titan Stadium. Those games mark just two of what will be a 10-game conference slate, with five contests at home and five on the road.

The first chance to see the 2013 Titans in action will be on Aug. 19 at Titan Stadium when Fullerton goes head-to-head vs. the California Golden Bears at 7:00 p.m.

Cal State Fullerton also resumes its spring season on March 12 at 9:30 a.m. when it plays the Los Angeles Blues at Titan Stadium
