Titans Finish 8th in Utah

Cedar City, UT - John San Juan and Jake Goliembewski shot 7-over-par 151 to share 29th place and lead Cal State Fullerton to an eighth-place team showing Tuesday at the Pat Hicks Thunderbird Men's Golf Invitational hosted by Southern Utah.

San Juan shot 74-77 and Goliembewski shot 76-75 to trail winner Harrison Moore (70-68=138) of College of Charleston by 13 strokes. Charleston won the team event with an even par 576, 8 strokes better than runnerup UMKC. First-day leader Southern Utah faded badly (290-307) to drop to seventh place.

Fullerton's Nick Ellis and Scot Rubzin were one stroke back of their teammates at 152 in 35th place.

Fullerton competes next on March 1-3 at UC Riverside's Braveheart Classic.
